If you scrolled down to read this, I just wanna say thanks a lot! It means that you care or just want to see more about me. Well, let's get this show on the road!

I first started writing all the way back in elementary school. I wrote a cute lil adventure time fanfic for an assignment and my teacher was quite impressed. And for english class, my other teacher was impressed too. So right off the bat, I felt confident to write a book and dreamed about being published and being a big name at the age of 11 (I assume).

Past elementary school, I started doing way more writings in middle school, I was honing my craft for a bit. I decided to start reading a fuck ton of books in the library and in exchange for the words, I gotten gift cards for how many words I read. Not only did reading helped me improve my own writings but I felt inclined to do so to get rewards.

However, my writings were sparce and random at best. I tried coming up with multiple ideas and did reserach on how to self-publish and such, but it was too much of a complex thing for my young mind to understand. I knew I needed more practice while also start exposing myself.

So that's when I learnt about DeviantArt and more about fanfiction. Put two and two together and I basically posted pokemon fanfics on DA of my Eevee gijinka oc, but they were horribly constructed and the plot was all over the place along with characterization that made me all cringe. I also felt like the DA wasn't the right place to post fanfics because I realized the audience of artists stomped out writers, especially author's creating original works since OG works get less attention than fanfics.

I decided to delete my DA and move on to Wattpad in 2013, that's when my writing journey truly began. I started doing a whole lotta writing for that platform...while also deleting a lot of works. You see, I started to improve rapidly and I was able to point of my flaws quickly, so what happened was that I kept uploading and deleting fanfics. Luckily, I stopped that habit and produced works. However, I did more reading than writing and didn't write much myself but I eventually did.

One summer I did indeed produced a lot of fanfics, especially x readers and pokemon fanfic since that was a fandom I was passionate about and still am to this day. But I soon joined DA again. Since my previous username was FurryGirlSylvy on my terminated account, I could use it again on my new profile, so I just added 45 to the end and called it a day.

Another summer after the last one, I started writing fanfics for people on DeviantArt and that's when I totally started having fun again. I loved discovering and learning to use HTML, it gave me a more customization that unfortunately Wattpad doesn't have, like at all.

Slowly over time, I felt less incline to make writings for Wattpad and more for DA. When Wattpad became mainstream, they changed both the app and website so much to the point it feels unrecognizable. I didn't like the changes really. I mean, I also hate Eclipse since it stripped DA of it's uniqueness, but I still enjoyed writing on here more than Wattpad.

I really wanted to do writing commissions, but then the nail that put the conffin for Wattpad was when I noticed you can't really do commissions there. Not because it's not allowed, but it's because the audience makes it difficult.

The majority of Wattpad's readers are teen girls and I was even in that demogrphic. Since they don't understand what commissions are, it would be very difficult to find someone that did. The appearl of Wattpad is the stories are all free. That's why a lot of people got angry at Wattpad for making some stories paid to read, and so if I do commissions on Wattpad it would be no different.

DevaintArt writers & artists are more of a adult audience and it's one of the most popular sites for commissions. So it's either make commissions here or hope I get .001% of ever getting my book featured by Wattpad and earn small revenue on it. So I chose DA and I never looked back at Wattpad ever since, mostly a reader there now but still not even active.

Now for my art journey, oh boi. I went on, off, on, off, mixed feelings, off and then on again now. I learnt it was vital to teach msyelf how to draw with youtube videos since I felt like some of the advice in high school felt outdated. Well, not all of it, I learned 2 point and 1 point perspective and that's the only new thing I learned.

I tried out digital art in class and thought it was fun, but it was short lived since it's mainly a digital photography class. So I bought some Prismacolor Scholar Colored Pencils and a Huion 420 drawing tablet and got to drawing.

Ever since March 2020, I started doing way more art since I had nothing better to do and continuing to self-teach myself to this day. I'm also doing a lot more writing but finally on a weekly basis and way more consistently than I ever was.
